Since graduating with Honours in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Leicester’s De Montford University in 1981 Lawrence has enjoyed a successful career in IT spanning some 26 years, of which over 10 years have been at Director level.
Throughout his career, Lawrence has held pivotal roles in ambitious small to medium sized software companies in the areas of commercial software development, solution implementation, business consultancy and project management.
Along with Guy and Mark, Lawrence was instrumental in the growth and eventual sale of GA Information Systems Limited; Lawrence and his team were responsible for the development and implementation of all the solutions delivered to GAIS’ 220 Blue Chip clients. This was no mean feat for Lawrence since Mark ensured that these solutions were always at the forefront of technology advancement!
Of particular relevance is the instrumental role played by Lawrence in the growth and eventual sale of the GAIS businesses and his role in the development of both numerous bespoke software products and a number of successful commercial products.
Lawrence joined the numéro Board in 2003 as Technical Director, taking responsibility for product strategy and development, customer support and the Company’s IT infrastructure.
Lawrence has assembled a truly exceptional development team which, combined with Lawrence’s unique blend of design vision, commercial pragmatism and commitment to quality software engineering, has allowed numéro to create a truly world class software suite that delivers real business value to its users.
Lawrence lives in Glossop, on the edge of the Peak District, with his wife Jayne and their two children. A keen mountain biker, Lawrence can generally be found riding the Dark Peak trails in the Pennines in his spare time.
