Job Description

We now require experienced technical authors to create a full set of documentation and training deliverables for a major new software release.

The successful applicant will be wholly responsible for the creation of audience-specific user guides and education materials designed to meet the needs of our customers’ IT staff, system administrators, team leaders and users and also for consultancy & implementation partners. He / she will also be responsible for the production of marketing materials and the management of web content.

To be considered you will need at least 2-3 years recent commercial experience as a Technical Author with excellent writing, editing and document production skills, the ability to work well with people at different levels within an organisation, good organisational, time management and communication skills and the ability to run a documentation project and see it through to completion. Experience of production of training materials and presentation of training courses would also be a distinct advantage!

You will also be expected to demonstrate good IT literacy and the ability to rapidly assimilate, structure and replay new knowledge relating to both the business and technical aspect of the software.
