The demand for numero solutions continues to grow with an array of public and private sector organisations embracing the transformational power of the numero interactive platform. The uptake within local government has been especially strong, thanks to the numero team’s proven ability to improve the accessibility of public services via simple, streamlined and efficient workflows and customer journeys across different channels including online, mobile, social media and traditional favourites including calls and correspondence.

To build on this success numero has appointed Guy Richardson, a highly experienced sales professional, to spearhead expansion in local government. With over 25 years’ sales experience, predominantly within IT solutions, Guy brings a wealth of know-how and expertise to numero. During this time, he has worked extensively with police, central government, local government and financial institutions – helping to drive technology adoption for the benefit of users and customers. In the process, Guy has worked on many specialist projects including those to meet demanding needs within covert police operations.

Having worked for a number of highly regarded software businesses – including Sapiens, ABM, GSA and KANA – Guy is well placed to appreciate the ground-breaking potential of the numero interactive solutions platform. The flexibility, power and omni-channel reach of numero interactive were key factors in his decision to join the business, which Guy acknowledged by saying:

I was excited by the numero opportunity as soon as I was introduced to the business transformation projects they have delivered to leaders in retail, financial services, travel, central government, utilities, telco and local government. However, the excitement intensified with my first numero interactive demonstration. The numero team has fully developed and stress-tested solutions that other software businesses can only aim for within development roadmaps and plans. The potential within local government is vast as numero has the ability to address fundamental needs quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively.

Guy Colclough, numero founder and CEO, explained how the appointment provided further confirmation of the competiveness of the numero interactive solutions platform:

As with the software development, social media, customer experience and CRM experts at numero, Guy will be based in Stockport – close to the Peak District where he spends leisure time shooting and working his dogs.
