numero sponsored European Tour professional golfer, Simon Khan, recorded one of his best finishes of the season at the Portugal Masters which concluded yesterday. Two excellent rounds of 68 over the weekend moved Simon up the field to finish in a tie for sixteenth place, collecting prize money of more than €25,000 in the process.
The event was won by Ireland’s Shane Lowry in a tense finish over the Oceanico Victoria Course on the Algarve. The venue is clearly a favourite of Simon as he finished in the identical position at last year’s Portugal Masters at the same course. However, this was a particularly satisfying performance in light of the recent wrist injury he sustained in the build-up to the Johnnie Walker event at Gleneagles.
With the European Tour 2012 season reaching its climax, Simon will look ahead with confidence with the goal of moving further up the rankings. It will also be an important time for the numero team as a number of our current major projects progress to full system roll-out following successful proof of concept stages. Our latest CRM, customer service and business transformation solutions are creating a real stir for clients in the travel, retail and financial services markets. We look forward to report further on these and the next stages of Simon’s season.
