There’s a huge amount of excitement at numero this afternoon as we watch with interest our man’s move up the leaderboard of the latest European Tour event – the KLM Open in The Netherlands. Following a rain delay yesterday, Simon had a strong finish to his first round before setting out on his second 18 this afternoon. He’s already picked-up a number of birdies in the round (as you can see from the scorecard) and is challenging for first place, ahead of World number 2, Lee Westwood. The numero team is currently working hard on a number of major projects and opportunities – including major new multi-channel solutions for Kitbag and Express Gifts – so we’re trying not to be distracted by Simon’s progress. Looks like we’ll just have to watch the event over the weekend and look out for the numero logo on Simon’s shirt collar. numero CEO, Guy Colclough, may pay a visit to the event having been really encouraged by Simon’s assessment of his game in a recent phone call.
