Our commitment to social media, social commerce and mobile technologies received a further boost today when Rob Sandbach joined the rapidly growing numero team.  Rob is a thought leader in this vitally important area of consumer interaction and his appointment represents another exciting milestone in our development.

Rob is spearheading our expertise in the delivery of effective and innovative solutions that capitalise on emerging channels and technologies.  He will combine his visionary insight with the proven numero uno platform to deliver innovative solutions that create a 360 degree view of customers in a single place – the importance of which is highlighted by Guy Colclough our CEO:

“We’ve given Rob the brief to use all his pioneering talents to bring the best of social media, social commerce and mobile interaction within easy reach of our customers. However, in all cases, these applications will integrate in the same way as the rest of our solutions suite.  As a result, clients not only get a complete picture of what and how their consumers communicate but also an easy way to interact with them via their preferred channels.  By doing so, we make it easy for our customers to embrace these rapidly emerging consumer favourites.”

In his numero role, Rob will draw on his extensive experience of delivering websites, technology platforms and applications for a variety of well-known organisations (including Tui, Vie at Home and Manchester Airport).  However, it is his commercial competence that clients are likely to find especially compelling, thanks to his passion for creating solutions that deliver genuine commercial benefits – an approach that fits perfectly with the numero act service.  As Rob sums up:

“I’ve grown-up with the Internet and mobile technology, so have an incredible passion for their potential. I believe we’re witnessing the start of a seismic shift in computing habits as consumers reach into their pockets to communicate online, on the go, through their preferred platforms. The first task for Rob is to share with customers his vision, an array of exciting new numero functionality and provide a sneek preview of our development roadmap, so he will be out and about a great deal over the coming months. When not with customers, he will be documenting these for the website and finding a little time for relaxation. As you would expect, Rob is a huge Apple fan but also finds time for five-a-side football, field hockey and geeky games that have become a mainstay of a whole generation.
